Advanced Comedy Course
The advanced comedy course at the Stand Up Comedy Clinic focuses on advanced comedy writing and performance techniques. Students learn to further develop their joke writing skills, learning different genres; from late-night television comedy monologue writing to sketch writing and developing and expanding their individual comedy sets in a way that will get them booked on television and help them win competitions and get into the rotation at the club level.

In order to get into the advanced class you must have completed the beginning class and shown a proficiency in applying the comedy techniques in your writing and your act. Those students who have already attained paid-professional status also qualify to attend the advanced course.

Jerry Corley's Stand Up Comedy Clinic is a powerful 8-week comedy class focusing on writing and performing comedy, followed by a performance at the world famous Comedy Store.

The advanced comedy class at the Stand Up Comedy Clinic will give you new tools to take your comedy to the next level. You will learn what the television bookers look for in a comedian and why some comedians are working and you're not! There's a hidden secret that gets them noticed. Jerry will teach it to you.

You will also learn to master the other comedy formulas used by Dave Chappelle, Mike Epps, Kat Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin, Daniel Tosh and more...and before you say it, YES, they use formula!

Comedy Class Student Accomplishments:

	Recent Student J.C. Morgan won "Funniest Comedian in L.A." (2 years and under) and has been slated to appear in a comedy special for Showtime on "pot" comedy. His hard work and attention to details in applying the formulas of incogruity, triples, reverses, recognition and double-entendre helped J.C. to advance so quickly.
	Student David Conolly advanced to the semi-finals at the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas after only 8-weeks in Jerry's class. He's now booking gigs nationwide and he just signed with Levity Entertainment. He also just passed the initial audition at the Laugh Factory and will be competing for the coveted "Fresh Faces" rotation there.
